7 Steps of Becoming a Dictator
This booklet uses irony as a key design element, incorporating a rigid rectangular structure—typically associated with honesty, stability, and order—to contrast the chaos and deception of dictatorship.
Images of dictators and their victims are heavily distorted and pixelated, reflecting a sense of disbelief and detachment, despite the undeniable reality of these historical events. Scribbled marks express frustration and anger, while bold red bars symbolize the bloodshed caused by oppressive regimes. Through this visually striking approach, the design challenges the viewer to confront the brutality of dictatorship and the unsettling ways power can be abused.
