l’affaire du sang
This website design explores L’Affaire du Sang, the French blood scandal of the 1980s, through a visually striking and emotionally charged interface. Using stark imagery of needles, blood bags, and medical equipment, the design evokes the gravity of the crisis while maintaining a structured and informative layout.
A bold yet minimal aesthetic guides the viewer through the history, impact, and key figures of the scandal, ensuring an engaging and educational user experience. The use of deep reds, sterile whites, and sharp contrasts reinforces the tension between life-saving medicine and the devastating consequences of negligence. This project combines historical research with UI/UX principles to create an immersive digital narrative.
